A San Francisco-based multi-channel management platform for vacation rentals called MyVR raised an added $6.1 million in Series A funding. This round, led by True Ventures, brought MyVR’s total funding to $7.5 million with involvement from multiple existing investors.
MyVR wants to put the funds towards better functionality for its platform, more client support, and a marketplace of connected apps and services. CEO and co-founder of MyVR Jonathan Murray leads the company, which provides a cloud-based software solution for vocational rental owners and property managers.
Customers can control 30+ listing sites like AirBnB, HomeAway, and VRBO. They can also open direct sales channels, and create automated renter communications and daily workflows using the system.
Y Combinator, SV Angel, Paul Buchheit, Clem Bason, Chis Dixon, Don Hutchison, Ben Boyer, Alex Rampell, and Tod Sacerdoti are on the list of prior investors.
